The short version
Moonlit Quill Press is a book website. You can browse, read free sample chapters and use our book club guides without giving us any personal information. We do not run accounts, comments or sign-up forms on this site, and we do not sell personal information.
What this site collects
We do not collect names, email addresses or payment details here. The site does not set its own cookies and does not use advertising or tracking scripts.
Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not use that data to identify you.
Links that leave this site
Most book buttons go to Amazon through a short link (geni.us), which is run by Geniuslink. When you click one, Geniuslink records that a click happened and roughly where it came from, such as your country and the type of device, so we can see which books interest readers. It sends you on to the right Amazon store for your location. These clicks are counted in aggregate; we do not use them to learn who you are.
As an Amazon Associate, the press may earn a small commission from qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you. Once you are on Amazon, its own privacy notice applies.
Free-book and newsletter links take you to services run by others, such as BookFunnel and MailerLite. If you give them your email address there, that service and the author you are signing up with receive it, and the service’s own privacy policy applies. We recommend reading it before you sign up.
Email from our authors
If you join an author’s mailing list, they will use your email address to send you news about their books. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and you can use it at any time.
Children
This site is meant for adult readers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices
You can block cookies and trackers in your browser, or browse with a privacy-focused browser, and the site will work the same. If you would like to ask what we hold about you, or ask us to remove anything, get in touch using the details below.
Changes to this page
If the way the site works changes, for example if we add analytics or a sign-up form, we will update this page and its date.
